This is a Chatty Cathy doll by Mattel, one of the most popular dolls of its time. The doll was a popular talking doll introduced in the late 1950s and 1960s. It is a vintage collectible item. The doll is wearing a two-tone blue dress with a white slip trimmed in lace and blue ribbon. Also wearing a pair of knit panties. Clothes are in fair condition. See pictures for some of the tears and holes. Elastic in slip and panties is stretched.
Doll is in good condition. Voice recording is in very good condition, considering the age of the doll. Says several different phrases.she has the "sleepy eyes" which open and close and are in excellent working condition.
