Empire Gold by Walbrzych Soup Tureen with Lid Pattern Code: WLBEMP Poland.
Found at an estate sale in excellent used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, fleabites or repairs. There are a couple of dark specks (glaze imperfections) under the glaze about the piece.
Walbrzych's Empire (Gold Trim) pattern was produced for several decades, generally spanning from the 1950s through around 1992, with pieces often marked "Made in Poland," reflecting its production during the communist era when the factory operated under state control.
