First American edition, first printing hardcover copy of Hitler Moves East 1941-1943 by Paul Carell (Little, Brown & Company, 1964). Very rare Germany / World War II history book. With illustrations, photographs and large fold-out map. Heavy wear to price clipped jacket with creasing, chipping and tears, mostly to outer edges. Some larger tears have tape adhered to interior side of dj. Boards straight and clean but with rubbing to faces and wear around edges. Board corners bumped and softened. A few instances of splits in binding with binding loosening on the whole. Some mild soiling to outer edges of text block, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned.
