Robinson Ransbottom Stoneware Pottery Morning Glory Beehive Cookie Jar Redwing
This charming vintage Robinson Ransbottom Pottery (RRP) stoneware pottery Cookie Jar features a unique beehive design adorned with a beautiful handpainted Morning Glory flower. This design by RRP dates from the 1920s, while an almost exact design was made by Redwing Pottery circa 1950s - without a maker's mark it could be either one. Originally came with a lid (this piece does not include one) indicating they were for Spaulding's Cookies. There are double handles on the sides.
It measures 8" tall, approx 8" in diameter.
The condition is as shown in the photographs. There are a couple minor chips at the base edge. The upper and inner rims are surprisingly free of chips, just some wear. Random crazing typical of old pottery. No lid.
