The "Velvet" Fur. This Vintage 1950s/60s Sheared Beaver Coat is a diamond in the rough. Sheared beaver is prized for being incredibly soft and dense—it feels more like heavy velvet than animal fur.
THE VIBE: Mid-Century Matriarch. The buttons are the star of the show—large, glitter-filled Lucite/Enamel discs that scream 1960s glam.
CONDITION: PROJECT PIECE / SOLD AS-IS
Closures: The loops for the buttons are missing/broken. She does not close currently.
Lining: The striped satin lining is beautiful but is coming detached at the bottom hem.
Fur Issues: There is a small hole in one elbow. There is visible wear/rubbing on cuffs, shoulders, and pocket edges.
Good News: The leather underneath feels soft (not crunchy).
Features: Huge collar, interior metal zipper pocket, striped lining.
